We Trust in Humor
Humor is an essential component of living a great life, yet few of us deliberately internalize it. There’s no denying that a sense of humor helps put things in perspective and makes life a bit more enjoyable for each of us; still what’s most exciting is the modern research linking laughter with one’s self-worth and confidence. I remember hearing the great Maya Angelou say that she doesn’t trust anyone who doesn’t laugh, and after speaking with Humour Australia’s Zara Swindells-Grose, it became clear to me as to why.
